Upgant-Schott
liegt in der Samtgemeinde Brookmerland, nahe an Marienhafe (ca. 1 km). Das erste
Mal wurde Upgant-Schott im Jahre 945 im Schenkungsregister des
Klosters Fulda erwähnt. Ortsteile von Upgant-Schott sind das
Mühlenloog, Ihlingswarf, Osterupgant und Kolhörn. Upgant-Schott ist
übrigens der Geburtsort von Bundesligaspieler Dieter Eilts.
